The Russian Federation's Ministry of Defense has decided to provide scholarships to 20 Cambodian military personnel to obtain military training in Russia. The agreement on the scholarships was signed here on July 21 by Gen. Phan Nguon, Secretary of State of Defense Ministry of Cambodia and Lieutenant General Korotkov A.V, representative of Russia's Ministry of Defense.
Speaking at the scholarship hand-over ceremony, Gen. Phan Nguon said the scholarships is part of cooperation between Cambodia's Ministry of National Defense and the Russian Ministry of National Defense to further improve the military capability of Cambodian armed forces.
