Latest Update on Cambodian-Thai Border Armed Clashes -- Round 4

-- Cambodian military official said that at 1945 Thai troops are still firing mortar shells into Cambodian territory, according to Deum Ampil report.

-- According to Kampuchea Thmey online, at 1805, sounds of gunfire are heard again at Ta Krabey temple and artillery shells firings are spreading to Ta Moan Temple. The paper also said that at 1610 a Thai soldier was killed by Cambodian grenade to the west of Ta Krabey temple as the sodier was  trying to entering Ta Krabey temple of Cambodia.

--According to reports by a high-ranking Cambodian military official, at 1345 on 25 April 2011, Thai troops resumed fighting after Thai aircraft hovered over Kouk Morn area in Banteay Ampil district, Oddar Meanchey province, with Thai artillery firing six shells into Kouk Morn area. He further said that this morning Thai commanders met in the border area near the battlefield.  It was also known that Kasit Phirom, Thai foreign minister, was visiting his soldiers. He met with failure, however, as there was no support in Surin province. Deum Ampil news online
