As new air routes, Myanmar Airways International (MAI) has planned to run flights twice a week from Yangon to Siem Reap (Angkor Wat) of Cambodia every Saturday and Wednesday beginning 23 February, and from Yangon to Guangzhou of China every Thursday and Sunday beginning 3 March.MAI is running direct and transit flights to and fro Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Gaya by three Air Bus A-320 with seating capacity of 160 and one Air Bus A-321 with seating capacity of 220, as well as charter flight.
In addition, MAI will spread its wings to Tokyo of Japan, Seoul of South Korea, New Delhi of India, Dubai of United Arab Emirates, and Jakarta and Bali island of Indonesia in the future.
