China Donates Office Equipment worth 500,000 Yuan to the Office of the Council of Ministers

Deputy Prime Minister His Excellency Dr. Sok An, Minister in Charge of the Office of the Council of Ministers, said on Monday that China’s contribution of office equipment will greatly contribute towards improving the effectiveness of the government’s civil servant works.

Among the equipment are 30 sets of computers, 20 pieces of note books, 32 sets of black and white laser printers, 5 sets of fax machines, one set of digital camera, 4 sets of flat-bed scanners, and 4 sets of projector.

The visiting China’s deputy commerce minister, Fu Ziying, presided at the handover ceremony and said that Beijing will provide more office equipment to the Royal government of Cambodia in the future to facilitate the government's work.

On the top of that China will build another building for IT and administration activities in the near future, said Fu.

Both His Excellency Dr. Sok An and His Excellency Fu said that the two countries need to enhance cooperation of trade, investment and other sectors, which will help contribute towards the economic development of Cambodia.

China is a key donor to Cambodia, and Chinese companies have invested in the nation in energy and agriculture among other investments.
